This motif is one of my personal favorites because it has everything that makes a good picture. Firstly, it shows closeness and distance and therefore has a good depth effect. Then it has something mysterious about it and, in contrast, enough clear, tangible elements. Last but not least, there is a beautiful play of light and shadow.
